How DASHUND works

From your Figma prototype to results, in four steps. · 3 min read

DASHUND turns a Figma prototype into behavioral analytics. You publish your prototype, you share a link, people use it normally, and DASHUND shows you what they did: screens viewed, paths taken, clicks, drop-offs.

The four steps

  1. Publish from Figma. The DASHUND plugin freezes a version of your prototype and puts it live right away. Your layers stay untouched. See it step by step.
  2. Check what success means. DASHUND picks the end-of-path screens in advance; one goal screen, several, or a checkpoint path: that’s what makes it possible to calculate the completion rate. Choose the right measure.
  3. Share the DASHUND link, not the Figma link: it’s the one that measures visits. Your testers open it on a phone or a computer and use the prototype, with no account and no instructions. What they see.
  4. Read the results. Sessions show up within seconds: dashboard, Flow, screens and heatmaps, sessions one by one. Understand the numbers.

What DASHUND doesn’t ask of you

  • No instrumentation: you add nothing in Figma, no code, no tag.
  • No tasks or questions for your testers: they use the prototype like a real product.
  • No account for your testers: a simple link is enough.
