Live, paused, draft, archived

What each status allows, and what is final. · 3 min read

A prototype has four statuses. The current status is the pill next to its name: click it to pause the prototype or resume it, from the prototype or from its card in the list.

Live

DASHUND links work and every session is recorded. A prototype gets this status as soon as it’s published from Figma.

Paused

DASHUND links show “This prototype is no longer available” and nothing is collected. Results remain available, and you can resume it at any time.

Draft

The prototype was sent but isn’t live, because your plan’s limit was reached: no link is active. Free up a slot, then click “Go live” in its Settings. A draft can be deleted: press and hold the “Delete the draft” button for a few seconds.

Archived

The prototype becomes read-only: its links show “no longer available”, and it can’t go live again. Its results remain available. Archiving is final: it happens in Settings, by pressing and holding the “Archive” button. An archived prototype only appears in the Prototypes list, “Archived” filter. The owner can then delete it permanently, in its Settings, by pressing and holding “Delete permanently”.
